JORDAN: Day 1

Itinerary/Sites to Visit:

Mount Nebo - Where Moses was given a view of the promised  land.

 Madaba

Machaerus - Palace of Herod where John the Baptist was beheaded.

Mt. Nebo - Don't look at the brass serpent!! (Except if I remember correctly, if the people looked at the brass serpent they were healed, so I think that is why I am only covering one eye ;). I think we all are in need of a little healing, right?)

Machaerus - it was a long hike to the top...and hot

If you look closely you can see the columns at the very top.
