Carpet Factory!

The next day we covered a lot of ground seeing Assos, Pergamum, an incredible carpet factory, and Asklepieion. The columns and leftover architecture at these places is amazing. It was also wonderful to talk about the messages that Paul gave to the people that he encountered at these places. The carpet factory was a neat opportunity as well as we were able to see how they make carpets start to finish starting from the silk worms. We even sat with the women and made a miniscule part of the carpet with them. I wish I could have purchased a carpet for each of my sisters and my mom because they were all so beautiful and well-made.
